Anthony (Tony) Colin Adderson

16 December 1956 - 17 May 1989

Often we are asked where the name of our company originated. Our company was named in memory of our founder’s cousin, Anthony Colin Adderson. Tony, as he was known, died at the age of thirty-two about three years before our founder, Terry Pfeil, started the company. Born in England, Tony had immigrated with his family to Australia at a young age. He came to the U.S. as a young man and fell in love with our country. He felt that the U.S. was where he belonged, and he lived here until the day he died.

Terry and Tony were very close, and Tony’s death was difficult for Terry to accept. After completing ten years of service in the Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot, Terry chose to honor the memory of his cousin by using Tony’s name for his new medical supply business. As a result, A.C. Adderson Healthcare, Inc. began operations in January of 1992.

A guardian angel was chosen as the company logo, symbolizing the presence of Tony watching over the company. Today, A.C. Adderson Healthcare, Inc. has expanded to include many of the quality product lines you have come to expect from a top medical supply distributor.
